THE CHALLENGE
The team was tasked with delivering a female empowerment & inclusion program for a prominent Nairobi hotel. In order to deliver effectively, Gender cannot be addressed without considering the context, therefore we adopt in intersectional approach, as a Kenyan workplace, tribal discrimination is also a key topic to address. Additionally, within the hospitality industry, our discussions also looked at client interaction and found that clients represented a difficult challenge as some could be discriminatory based on both tribe and gender. The outcomes of the workshops covered this and more.
